Laurence Lee has landed some of the biggest and most famous cases in English Legal History, particularly the James Bulger murder in which he represented John Venables.

Since the trial of this famous case in 1993, Laurence Lee lectured to students nationwide and abroad, including the American University in Washington as well as French Bar students whom he attempted to address in French.

This talk is a riveting insight into the pressure experienced by a lawyer dealing with such a high profile case.  His experiences were reported in the Sunday Times News Review in 2000.

He reported for the BBC in respect of a similar murder of a child by other children in Norway and compared the reaction of society in each country.
